BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
AUFSTELLUNG UND INBETRIEBNAHME
Ein optimaler Aufstellungsort ist in aller Regel der
dunkelste Ort in dem zu schützenden Raum. Platzieren
Sie IV 104 bitte nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe anderer
Lichtquellen. Um das Gerät in Betrieb zu nehmen, stecken
Sie es einfach in eine Steckdose.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Vor Inbetriebnahme Bedienungsanleitung lesen.
• Niemals in Wasser tauchen und vor Feuchtigkeit
schützen.
• Nur für den Betrieb innerhalb geschlossener und
trockener Räume geeignet.
• Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufstellen.
• Vor dem Reinigen Gerät aus der Steckdose
ziehen.
• Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, wenn es
sichtbare Schäden aufweist.
• Versuchen Sie niemals, die Hochspannungs-
elektrode bei eingeschaltetem Gerät mit den
Fingern zu berühren. Es besteht die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlags.

SET-UP AND INITIAL OPERATION
An optimum installation site is normally the darkest place
in the room to be protected. Please do not place the IV
104 in the immediate vicinity of other light sources.
To put the device into operation, simply plug it into a
socket.
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Read the operating instructions care¬fully
before operation.
• Never place the device in water and protect it
against humidity.
• Only suitable for use within closed and dry
rooms.
• Keep away from children.
• Unplug the device from the mains before clean-
ing it.
• Do not operate the device if it shows any visible
damage.
• Never attempt to touch the high-volt¬age
electrode with your fi ngers while the device is
switched on. There is a risk of electric shock.
NOTES ON DISPOSAL
Old units, marked with the symbol as illustrated,
may not be disposed of in the household rubbish.
You must take them to a collection point for old
units (enquire at your local authority) or the dealer from
whom you bought them. These agencies will en¬sure
environmentally friendly disposal.

If nevertheless you do have cause for complaint,
please return the device together with the receipt

MODE D'EMPLOI
INSTALLATION ET MISE EN SERVICE
Le meilleur emplacement est en règle générale l'endroit
le plus obscur du local à protéger. Ne disposez pas le IV
104 à proximité immédiate d'autres sources de lumière.
Pour mettre l'appareil en service, il suffi t de le brancher
sur une prise de courant.
INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
• Avant la mise en service, lire le mode d'emploi.
• Ne jamais plonger l'appareil dans l'eau et le
protéger de l'humidité.
• Ne doit être utilisé que dans des locaux fermés
et secs.
• Ne pas installer l'appareil à portée des enfants.
• Avant tout nettoyage, retirer l'appareil de la
prise de courant.
• Ne pas mettre l'appareil en service s'il présente
des dégâts visibles.
• N'essayez jamais de toucher l'électrode à haute
tension avec les doigts lorsque l'appareil est
branché. Il existe un risque d'électrocution.
CONSEILS POUR L'ÉLIMINATION
Les vieux appareils marqués du symbole représenté
sur la fi gure ne doivent pas être éliminés avec les
ordures ménagères. Vous devez les apporter à un
point de collecte pour vieux appareils (renseignez-vous
auprès de votre mairie) ou les rapporter chez le
commerçant où vous les avez achetés. De cette manière,
ils seront éliminés en respectant l'environnement.

en fi n de fabrication. En cas de défaut, veuillez
retourner l’appareil dans son emballage d’origine
