Audio Transformers

Theaudio transformers ofthe Tserieswere speciallydesigned forconverting low-impedancesignals into100 V

signalsforPA systems.Thus,alsolow-impedancespeakersoramplifierswithoutbuilt-in100Vaudio

transformer can be connected to the 100 V line of the PAsystem. The power is matched via selection of cables.

Before yourinitial start-up,please make surethat thereare notransport damages.Should there beany,do

not take theproduct into operation and immediately consult your dealer.

This productwas designedforindoor useonly. Protectit against humidityand heat. Theambienttemperature

must always be between 0° C and 40° C.Keep away from heaters and other heating sources.

Speaker cables are sensitive toelectricalinterference. Hence,it is recommendedto lay them at a

distanceofseveralmeters to sources ofinterference(e.g. dimmers, light switches).

Maintenanceand serviceoperations areonlyto becarried out byauthorized dealers. Damage, caused by

manualmodificationsontheproduct arenot subject towarranty. Iftheproductis used forother purposes than

originallyintended orifit is not correctlyconnected, it maysufferdamageandthe guarantee

becomes void.

For cleaning,please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents!

IfthePAsystemis turned on, turnit offbeforemakinganyconnection.

The transmformer's secondarycores serve as connectors for low-impedance signals. Connect the

black core COMtothe negative pole and,according to the impendace (4, 8or 16), one ofthe other colored

cores to the positive pole.

The transmformer's primarycores serve as connectors forthe 100V lineofthePAsystem. Connect the

black coreCOM to the negativepole and, according to the desiredpower rating(see Technical

Specifications), oneofthe othercolored cores to thepositive pole.
