The volumecontroller was designedfor usein 100V PAsystems. Itoffers elevenswitching positionsand

is equippedwith an emergencypriority relay. The maximumnominal loadby the followingspeakersor by

the following speaker group must not be exceeded. The volume controller must be installed into a

customaryflush socket or intoan optional surface socket.

Before yourinitial start-up,please make sure thatthere are notransport damages. Shouldthere be

any,donot takethe deviceinto operationand immediately consultyour dealer.

Operate the device onlyafterhaving familiarized withitsfunctions.Do not permitoperation by

persons notqualifiedforoperatingthe device.

Thisproductwasdesignedforindoor useonly. Protectthe deviceagainst humidityandheat. The

ambient temperature must always be between 0° C and 40° C. Keep away from heatersand other

heating sources!

Speaker cablesare sensitiveto electricalinterference. Hence, itisrecommendedto lay themat a

distance ofseveral metersto sourcesofinterference(e.g. dimmers, light switches).

Maintenance and serviceoperations are only to be carried out by authorizeddealers. Damage,

caused by manual modificationson the device are notsubject to warranty. If the device isused for

other purposesthanoriginally intended orifit isnot correctly connected,the product may suffer

damagesand theguarantee becomesvoid.

For cleaning,please useasoft lint-free andmoistened cloth.Never usealcoholor solvents!

To facilitate handling, the terminalscan be removed from their plug-in connections onthe unit

and replacedafter connection.

Connectthe linesofthe 100V signalsource tothe positiveand negativepole ofthe input“IN”.

Connectthe PAspeakerto thepositive and negativepole of the output“OUT”.

The emergencypriority relaycanbe activatedby a24 VDC voltage

positive and negative pole oftheBy activating the

emergency priority relay important announcements canbe heard via the PAspeaker connected

even ifthe volumecontrolleris settominimum(leftstop position).
