Hydraulic Brake Piston Press

The PP-1.2 makes bicycle hydraulic disc brake maintenance faster and easier.

Its unique, wedge-shaped blade slides into a hydraulic disc brake caliper to

quickly pre-set the pistons when replacing or resetting the pads.

Instructions for pad replacement:

1. Remove wheel from bike.

2. Insert PP-1.2 between brake pads, pushing tool to spread the two pistons

into the caliper body.

3. Pull PP-1.2 from caliper body.

4. Remove pads and replace with new pads as recommended by brake

manufacturer.

5. Reinstall wheel in bike.

Bremszylinder-Justierkeil

Mit dem PP-1.2 wird die Wartung hydraulischer Scheibenbremsen zum

Kinderspiel. Die speziell geformte Keilklinge wird zwischen die Bremsbeläge

geschoben und drückt die Bremszylinder in ihre Ausgangsposition zurück, damit

die Bremsbeläge einfacher nachjustiert bzw. ausgetauscht werden können.

Anleitung zum Belagwechsel:

1. Entfernen Sie das Laufrad.

2. Schieben Sie den PP-1.2 zwischen die Bremsbeläge und drücken sie

dabei die Bremszylinder soweit wie möglich in den Bremssattel zurück.

3. Entfernen Sie den PP-1.2 aus dem Bremssattel.

4. Entfernen sie die alten Beläge und montieren Sie die neuen nach

Anleitung des Bremsenherstellers.

5. Montieren Sie das Laufrad.
