SM-HDMV-9X Rear
The HDMV-9X can be used in many applicaons that require real-me monitoring of mulple devices, like
HDTV, DVD players, cameras and computers. It is the perfect soluon in situaons where a user needs to
monitor up to nine separate sources at the same me.
In air trac control environments, for example, several computers are required to monitor the progress of ights
and ight informaon. With HDMV-9X the user is able to monitor every connected source the progress without
having to switch between sources, making it the perfect soluon for multasking.
Controlling the HDMV-9X is easy using front panel buons, RS232 or On Screen Display (OSD). Oponal
Ethernet control is also available, giving users mulple ways to control the device for convenient implementaon
and use.
The On Screen Display (pictured to the right) is accessible at the press of a buon, and features controls for all
of the HDMV-9X’s funcons. The HDMV-9X is easily programmable with the OSD.
Users can control the HDMV-9X from virtually anywhere with the oponal Ethernet control. If users need
to make changes remotely, or if users need to place the HDMV-9X away from the primary workstaon, the
SmartAVI Net-IP-Pro control module enables eecve for real-me remote control management over an
Ethernet connecon. Simply connect the NetIP-Pro module to the device while connected to the Internet, and
the device can be controlled remotely with ease.

Fullscreen Mode
In the Full-mode, one of the nine video sources is displayed in full
screen size and maximum resoluon. Keyboard and mouse operaon
automacally switch to the corresponding computer.

Quad-Mode
In Quad-mode, the screen is split into four elds of equal size with the
four selected video sources or computers being displayed in each of these
elds.

Dual-Mode
