schieden haben.
1. Bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten
•
Lesen Sie sich bitte die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch. So
werden Sie mit Ihrem neuen Gerät vertraut, lernen alle Funk-
tionen und Bestandteile kennen, erfahren wichtige Details für
die Inbetriebnahme und den Umgang mit dem Gerät und erhal-
ten Tipps für den Störungsfall.
•
Durch die Beachtung der Bedienungsanleitung vermeiden Sie
auch Beschädigungen des Geräts und die Gefährdung Ihrer
gesetzlichen Mängelrechte durch Fehlgebrauch.
•
Für Schäden, die aus Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanlei-
tung verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.

Gerätes ist nicht gestattet.

Verletzungsgefahr:
•
Stellen Sie sich nicht mit nassen Füssen auf die Waage und
ebenfalls nicht, wenn die Oberfläche der Waage nass ist.
Rutschgefahr.
•
Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterien außerhalb der Reich-
weite von Kindern auf.
•
Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinander
nehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsgefahr!
•
Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Um ein Aus-
laufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien
möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden. Verwenden Sie nie
gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder Batterien unter-
schiedlichen Typs.
•
Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbe-
ständige Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!
Wichtige Hinweise zur Produktsicherheit!
•
Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibratio-
nen und Erschütterungen aus.
•
Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät.
•
Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen.
5. Bedienung und Inbetriebnahme
•
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite des Gerätes und
legen Sie die vier Batterien 1,5 V AAA +/- Pol wie abgebildet, ein.
•
Die Waage ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
•
Im Display erscheint 0.0 kg (Voreinstellung: kg).
•
Drücken Sie die UNIT Taste auf der Rückseite der Waage, um
die gewünschte Gewichtseinheit auszuwählen.
•
Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine glatte, feste Unterlage.
•
Zum Einschalten der Waage stellen Sie sich einfach auf die
Standfläche.
•
Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung schaltet sich automatisch an.
•
Nach einigen Sekunden erscheint Ihr gemessenes Gewicht in kg
(Voreinstellung) oder in der von Ihnen eingestellten Gewichts-
einheit.
•
Sobald das Gewicht anfängt zu blinken, ist der Wiegevorgang
abgeschlossen.
•
Das Gewicht bleibt nach dem Verlassen der Waage noch im Dis-
play angezeigt.
•
Die Waage schaltet sich nach ca. 10 Sekunden automatisch aus.
5.1 Einstellung der Gewichtseinheit
•
Auf der Rückseite der Waage befindet sich die UNIT Taste für
die Auswahl der Gewichtseinheit. Sie können zwischen „KG”
für Kilogramm, „LB” für das britische und amerikanische Pfund
(1 pound = 453,59237 Gramm) und „ST” für das britische Stone
(1 st = 6,35 kg) wählen.
5.2 Benutzung der Waage
•
Wiegen Sie sich möglichst zur selben Tageszeit (am besten mor-
gens), nach dem Toilettengang, nüchtern und ohne Bekleidung,
um vergleichbare Ergebnisse zu erzielen.
•
Bei Erstbenutzung des Gerätes und nach dem Batteriewechsel
muss sich das Gerät erst justieren.
•
Um den Justiervorgang zu beenden, wiederholen Sie den Wie-
gevorgang dreimal.
•
Danach zeigt die Waage bei jeder neuen Benutzung das richti-
ge Gewicht an.
6. Pflege und Wartung
•
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten
Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden! Vor
Feuchtigkeit schützen.
•
Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit
nicht verwenden.
•
Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.

Wenn Ihr Gerät trotz dieser Maßnahmen immer noch nicht funk-
tioniert, wenden Sie sich an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Produkt
gekauft haben.
8. Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt wurde unter Verwendung hochwertiger Materia-
lien und Bestandteile hergestellt, die recycelt und wiederverwen-
det werden können.
Batterien und Akkus dürfen keinesfalls in den Haus-
müll! Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich verpflichtet,
gebrauchte Batterien und Akkus zur umweltgerech-
ten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden
Sammelstellen gemäß nationaler oder lokaler Bestim-
mungen abzugeben.
Die Bezeichnungen für enthaltene Schwermetalle
sind: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei
Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der EU-Richtlinie über
die Entsorgung von Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgerä-
ten (WEEE) gekennzeichnet.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Der Nutzer ist verpflichtet, das Altgerät zur

1. Avant d'utiliser votre appareil
•
Lisez attentivement le mode d'emploi. Pour vous familiariser
avec votre nouvel appareil, découvrez les fonctions et tous les
composants, notez les détails importants relatifs à la mise en
service et lisez quelques conseils en cas de disfonctionnement.
•
En respectant ce mode d'emploi, vous éviterez d'endommager
l'appareil et de perdre vos droits résultant d'un défaut pour
cause d'utilisation non-conforme.

Nous n'assumons aucune responsabilité pour des dommages qui
auraient été causés par le non-respect du présent mode d'em-

4. Pour votre sécurité
•
L'appareil est destiné uniquement à l'utilisation décrite ci-des-
sus. Ne l'utilisez jamais à d'autres fins que celles décrites dans le
présent mode d'emploi.
•
Vous ne devez en aucun cas réparer, démonter ou modifier l'ap-
pareil par vous même.
•
Tout traitement ou régime doit faire l’objet d’une discussion
avec un médecin.
Attention!
Danger de blessure:
•
Ne montez pas sur la balance avec les pieds mouillés et surtout
pas quand la surface de la balance est humide. Vous risquez de
glisser.
•
Gardez votre appareil et les piles hors de la portée des enfants.
•
Ne jetez jamais les piles dans le feu, ne les court-circuitez pas,
ne les démontez pas et ne les rechargez pas. Risques d'explo-
sion!
•
Les piles contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé. Une pile
faible doit être remplacée le plus rapidement possible afin
d'éviter une fuite. Ne jamais utiliser d'anciennes piles avec des
piles neuves simultanément ou bien encore des piles de types
différents.
•
Pour manipuler des piles qui ont coulé, utilisez des gants de pro-
tection chimique spécialement adaptés et portez des lunettes de
protection !
Conseils importants de sécurité du produit!
•
Évitez d’exposer l’appareil à des températures extrêmes, à des
vibrations ou à des chocs.
•
Ne placez aucun objet sur votre appareil.
•
Protégez-le contre l'humidité.
5. Opération et mise en service
•
Ouvrez le compartiment à piles au revers de l'appareil et insérez
les quatre piles 1,5 V AAA, polarité +/- comme illustrée. Votre
balance est maintenant prête à fonctionner.
•
0.0 kg (par défault : kg) apparaît sur l'affichage.
•
Appuyez sur la touche UNIT au revers de la balance pour le choix
de l’unité de mesure.
•
Placez la balance sur une surface plate.
•
Afin de d’allumer votre balance, tenez-vous au centre de la pla-
teforme en verre.
•
L’éclairage de fond arrière s'allume automatiquement.
•
Après quelques secondes, le poids mesuré est affiché en kg (par
défaut) ou dans l'unité de poids que vous avez définie.
•
Dès que l’affichage de votre poids commence à clignoter, l'opéra-
tion de pesage est terminée.
•
Le poids reste affiché pendant quelque temps après que la balan-
ce ait été quittée.
•
La balance s’arrêtera automatiquement après 10 secondes.
5.1 Réglage de l’unité de mesure
• Au revers de la balance se trouve la touche UNIT pour le choix de
l'unité de mesure. Vous avez le choix entre «KG» pour kilogramme,
«LB» pour la livre anglaise ou américaine (1 pound = 453,59237
grammes) et «ST» pour la Stone britannique (1 st = 6,35 kg).
5.2 Utilisation de la balance
•
Pensez-vous, si possible, à la même heure (de préférence le
matin), après être allé aux toilettes, à jeun et sans aucun vête-
ment, afin d’obtenir des résultats comparables.
•
Lorsque vous commencez à utiliser l'appareil et après le rempla-
cement de la pile, l'appareil dispose d'ajuster seulement.
•
Pour terminer le réglage, répéter l'opération de pesage à trois
reprises.
•
Ensuite, la balance affiche à chaque nouvelle utilisation du
poids correct.
6. Entretien et maintenance
•
Pour le nettoyage de votre appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et
humide. N’utilisez aucun agent solvant abrasif!
•
Enlevez les piles, si vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant
une durée prolongée.
•
Conservez votre appareil dans un endroit sec.

8. Traitement des déchets
Ce produit a été fabriqué avec des matériaux de construction de
haute qualité qui peuvent être recyclés et réutilisés.
Les piles et accus usagés ne peuvent en aucun cas être
jetés dans les ordures ménagères!
En tant qu'utilisateur, vous avez l'obligation légale de
rapporter les piles et accus usagés à votre revendeur
ou de les déposez dans une déchetterie proche de
votre domicile conformément à la réglementation
nationale et locale.
Les métaux lourds sont désignés comme suit:

Cet appareil est conforme aux normes de l'UE rela-
tives au traitement des déchets électriques et électro-

Caution!
Risk of injury:

Do not stand on the scale with wet feet and especially not
when the surface of the scale is wet. There is a dangerous risk
of slipping.
•
Keep the product and the batteries out of the reach of children.
•
Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken
apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
•
Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be
changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a
leak. Never use a combination of old and new batteries together,
or batteries of different types.
•
Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses
when handling leaking batteries.

•
Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibrations or
shocks.
•
Do not place any objects on the unit.
•
Protect it from humidity.
5. Operation and set up
•
Open the battery compartment at the rear of the instrument and
insert the four batteries 1,5 V AAA with the polarity as indicated.
•
Your scale is now ready to use.
•
“0.0 kg” (default: kg) appears on the display.
•
Press the UNIT button at the back of the scale and select your
desired weight unit.
•
Place the scale on a flat solid surface.
•
In order to switch on the scale, just stand on the platform.
•
The backlight turns on.
•
After a few seconds your measured weight will be displayed in
kg (default) or in the weighting unit you have set.
•
The measuring process is finished as soon as your weight flashes
on the display.
•
The weight remains on the display after leaving the scale.
•
The scale will turn off automatically after 10 seconds.
5.1 Setting of the weight unit
•
At the rear of the scale you will find the UNIT button to convert
the weight unit. You can select between “KG” for Kilogram,
“LB” for British and American pound (1 pound = 453,59237
Gram) and “ST” for British Stone (1 st = 6,35 kg).
5.2 Use of the scale
•
If possible, always weigh yourself at the same time of day (ide-
ally in the morning), after going to the toilet, on an empty
stomach and without clothes to achieve comparable results.
•
Using the device the first time and after replacing the battery it
is absolutely necessary to adjust the balance.
•
To terminate the adjusting repeat the weighing process three
times.
•
Then the balance will show you the correct weight after each
further use.
6. Care and maintenance
•
Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use sol-
vents or scouring agents.
•
Remove the batteries if you do not use it for a long period of
time.
•
Keep your scale in a dry place.

8. Waste disposal

to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site
depending on national or local regulations in order to
protect the environment.
