1.Cautions

Thesoftwareversionandpicturesinthisdocumentarejustfor

referenceonly.PleaseuseZTEhandsetsupportwebsiteprovidedversion

todownloadsoftware.

1)Downloadtheupgradepackage.

Open http://www.ztedevice.com.cn/support and download the upgrade

package(update.zip)thatmatchesyourphonemodel.Ifthe

downloadedpackageisnotupdate.zip,unzipthepackagetoobtain

update.zip.

Ensure that your micro SD card is atleast 2GB.

NotePleaserefertoourcurrentversiondownloadsize：.

2) Remove the SIM card, then back up thedata and APPs in your phone

beforetheupgrade.

3)Performdatabackup.

Note:YoushouldnotremovetheSDcardduringthebackupprocess.To

avoiddatalost,itisnotrecommendedtocancelthebackupprocess.

4)VerifythatthefileintherootdirectoryoftheSDcardupdate.zip

matchesthemodelofthephone.Donotmodifythefilenameand

extensionnameofthefilesintheupgradepackage.

5)Verifythatyourphonehasenough(atleast40%)power.Chargethephone

ifrequired.Toavoiddatalostorupgradefailure,itisnotrecommendedto

upgradeyourphonethroughanSDcardwhenthephoneisbeingcharged.

6)Youshouldnotperformanyotheroperationonthephoneduringthe

upgradeprocess.

7)Anormalupgradeshouldbecompletedinminutes.Ifthephonedoes3-5

notrebootorshowanyresponseinminutes,youshouldperformthe5

upgradeprocessagain.Ifthephonecannotbestarted,performaforced

upgrade.Iftheforcedupgradedoesnotwork,youshouldcontactan

after-saleserviceagentforsupport.

2.UpgradeDescription

Therearetwoupgrademethods:normalupgradeandforcedupgrade.

Ifthephonecannotbestartedproperly,forexample,thephonecannotbe

started,orthephonedoesnotenterstandbystate,performaforcedupgrade.

Ifthephonecanbestartedproperlyandthemenucanbeselected,Settings

performanormalupgrade.
