3. INSTALLING THE BATTERY

Slightlypressdownthebaerycoverandslideitdownthedevice.

Insert1XAAAlkalinebaeriesaccordingtotheschemevisible.

Slidethecoverbackinplaceunlyouhearitclick.

4. ON / OFF

PressthePOWERbuon(D)toturnonthedevice.

Youwillhearabeepand“RDY”willbedisplayedontheLCDDisplay(B).

Note: The device will automacally turn o aer 30 seconds of inacvity

Toturnothedevice,pressthePOWERbuon(D)again.

5. TESTING YOUR ALCOHOL LEVEL

STEP 1

Foldoutthemouthpieceontheupperlesideoftheunit.Addanaddional

mouthpiece(oponal)ifnecessary.

STEP 2

Press the POWER buon (D) for 2 seconds to turn on the

device.  You will hear a beep and see the countdown mer

willbedisplayedontheLCDDisplay(B).Thedisplaywillshow

“RDY” and you will hear a beep. The device is now ready for

use.

STEP 3

Inialize the sensor by pressing the LEFT buon (C).  On the

LCD Display (B)“C---” will be displayed and you will hear a c

onnuous beep sound. You can now start blowing into the

mouthpiece.

STEP 4

Keepblowing unllyouhear2‘click’soundstoindicatethe

sampling process is succesfull.

STEP 5

The device will now analyze the collected breath sample

andcalculatethevalues.“C---”willbedisplayedontheLCD

Display(B).

Note: If “FLO” appears on the screen it indicates that your

blowing was less than 5 seconds. Restart the test again, blow

soly and connuously again unl you hear the beep-sound

STEP 6

Reading the result:

Thereadingwillbeinrangefrom0.00to4.00‰(or0.000to0.400%BACor

0.000to2.000mg/l)dependingonhowtheBACdisplayisset.

RED Background:NOTSafe(posive)–Exceedsalertleversetbyuser

Note: If you want to take several tests, wait at least 1 minute with normal

results, 3-5 minutes with high results.

6. NAVIGATING THE LAST TEST RESULTS

Whenturningonthedevice,theLCDDisplay(B)willstartacountdownsequence.

PressthePOWERbuon(D)duringthecountdowntoverifyhowmanytests

youhavetakenwiththedevice.Thisnumbergivesyouanindicaononwhen

acalibraonisneeded.Toresetthenumber,presstheLEFTbuon(C)for2

seconds.

PressthePOWERbuon(D)againtodisplaythelatesttestrecord(indicated

bythenumber“1”onthescreen)anditwillbefollowedbythecorresponding

result.Tonavigatethroughthelatesttests,presstheLEFTbuon(C)orthe

RIGHTbuon(E).

Toexitthetestmemory,pressthePOWERbuon(D).

7. ERROR NOTIFICATIONS

Somemesthedisplaycanshowanerrornocaon:

RPT:Insucientorunevenblowingduringtestdetected.Repeatthestepsin

chapter 5

SNR: Sensor not ready: this means that the sensor is not ready due to a high

concentraonofalcoholresiduleonthesensorfromthelasttest.Switcho

the device, wait for a few minutes and repeat the steps in chapter 5.

FLO:Notenoughsamplecollectedduetoinsucientblowing.

Repeat the steps in chapter 5

H:HIGH:Alcoholconcentraonisover4.00‰BAC.

Wait15-30minutesbeforetryingagain

OUT: This means that the test has been conducted in either too cold or too

hot temperature environment. Please bring the device to a normal room

temperature,waitafewminutesandredothetestbyrepeangthestepsin

chapter 5.

LO:Baerylow,pleasereplacethe1AAAlkalinebaeriesinyourdevice.

!Wachtminstens20minuten,zondertedrinkenofteroken

vooraleer u een test afneemt. Spoel uw mond met water

alvorens te testen!

!Hetalcoholniveauinuwbloedkanblijvensjgentot2unahetdrinken

vanuwlaatstealcoholischedrank.Eenconnuenegaeftestresultaat

kan nooit gegarandeerd worden!

!Weadviserenuomditproductbijkamertemperatuuropteslaanente

gebruiken.Bewaarhetapparaatnietindeautoonderextremewinter-of

zomertemperaturen!

! Blaas NOOIT rook, vloeistof of voedselrestanten in het toestel !

!Dezetestenuwtestresultaatkunnennietalsjuridischbewijsworden

voorgelegd in het geval van aanvaring met het wet !

De BAC resultaten zijn ter referene en de testresultaten dienen niet als

hulpmiddel gebruikt te worden om vast te stellen of u een voertuig kan

bedienen of niet! De producent, distributeur en importeur verwerpen elke

legaleverantwoordelijkheidvoorhetgemetentestresultaat.

3. DE BATTERIJ PLAATSEN

Drukhetbaerijklepjeietsnaarbenedenenschuifhetophetapparaat.

Plaats1XAAAlkalinebaerijenvolgenshetschemazichtbaar.

Schuifdeklepterugopzijnplaatstotdatuhemhoortklikken.

4. AAN / UIT

DrukopdeAAN/UIT-knop(D)omhetapparaatinteschakelen.

Uhoorteenpieptoonen“RDY”wordtweergegevenophetLCD-scherm(B).

Opmerking: het apparaat wordt automasch uitgeschakeld na 30 seconden

inacviteit

DruknogmaalsopdeknopPOWER(D)omhetapparaatuitteschakelen.

5. JE ALCOHOLNIVEAU TESTEN

STAP 1

Klaphetmondstukuitaandelinkerbovenkantvanhetapparaat.Voegzonodig

eenextramondstuktoe(oponeel).

STAP 2

Drukgedurende2secondenopdeknopPOWER(D)omhet

apparaat in te schakelen. U hoort een pieptoon en ziet dat

deaelmerwordtweergegevenophetLCD-scherm(B).Op

het display verschijnt “RDY” en u hoort een pieptoon. Het

apparaat is nu klaar voor gebruik.

STAP 3

InialiseerdesensordooropdeknopLINKS(C)tedrukken.Op

hetLCD-scherm(B)wordt“C---”weergegevenenhoortueen

hoonbaar geluidssignaal. U kunt nu in het mondstuk beginnen

teblazen.

STAP 4

Blijfblazentotdatu2‘klik’-geluidenhoortomaantegevendat

het samplingproces succesvol is.

STAP 5

Hetapparaatanalyseertnuhetverzameldeademmonsteren

berekentdewaarden.“C---”wordtweergegevenophetLCD-

scherm(B).

Opmerking: Als “FLO” op het scherm verschijnt, gee dit aan

dat uw blaas minder dan 5 seconden was. Start de test opnieuw,

blaas zacht en connu opnieuw totdat u het piepgeluid hoort

STAP 6

Hetresultaatlezen:

Demeetwaardeligtinhetbereikvan0,00tot4,00‰(of0,000tot0,400%

BACof0,000tot2,000mg/l),aankelijkvanhoedeBAC-displayisingesteld.

RODE achtergrond:NIETveilig(posief)-Overtrewaarschuwingshendel

ingesteld door gebruiker

Opmerking: als u meerdere tests wilt uitvoeren, wacht dan ten minste 1 minuut

met normale resultaten, 3-5 minuten met hoge resultaten.

6. NAVIGEREN DOOR DE LAATSTE TESTRESULTATEN

Wanneer u het apparaat inschakelt, begint het LCD-scherm (B) met het

aellen.DrukjdenshetaellenopdeknopPOWER(D)omtecontroleren

hoeveeltestsu methetapparaathebtuitgevoerd.Ditnummergeeueen

indicaewanneereenkalibraenodigis.Omhetaantaltereseen,druktu

gedurende2secondenopdeLINKER-knop(C).

Drukopnieuwopde AAN / UIT-knop (D)omhetlaatstetestrecordweerte

geven(aangeduid methetcijfer“1”ophetscherm)enhetresultaatwordt

gevolgd.Omdoordelaatsteteststenavigeren,druktuopdeknopLINKS(C)

ofdeknopRECHTS(E).

DrukopdeknopPOWER(D)omhettestgeheugentesluiten.

7. FOUTMELDINGEN

Soms kan het display een foutmelding weergeven:

RPT:Onvoldoendeofonregelmagblazenjdenstestgedetecteerd.Herhaal

de stappen in hoofdstuk 5

SNR: Sensor niet gereed: dit betekent dat de sensor niet gereed is vanwege

eenhogeconcentraealcoholresidudieopdesensorisachtergeblevenbijde

laatste test. Schakel het apparaat uit, wacht een paar minuten en herhaal de

stappen in hoofdstuk 5.

FLO: onvoldoendemonsterverzameldvanwegeonvoldoendeblazen.

Herhaal de stappen in hoofdstuk 5

H: HOOG:dealcoholconcentraeismeerdan4,00‰BAC.

Wacht15-30minutenvoordatjehetopnieuwprobeert

OUT: dit betekent dat de test is uitgevoerd in een te koude of te hoge

temperatuur. Breng het apparaat naar een normale kamertemperatuur,

wacht een paar minuten en herhaal de test door de stappen in hoofdstuk 5

te herhalen.

LO:Baerijbijnaleeg,vervangde1AA-alkalinebaerijeninuwapparaat.
