You should be fully familiar with the proper and safe handling of your weapon. The basic principles
of weapons safety require you to always apply the following rules when handling the firearm.
• Alwaystreataweaponasifitwasloaded.
• Alwaysputthesafetyofaweaponto“safe” when loading it so that there can be no
unintentional discharge.
• Keepyourfingerawayfromthetrigger.Itshouldbestraightandshouldrestonthetriggerguard.
• Onlyusethekindofprojectilessuitableforyourweapon.
• Alwayskeepthemuzzlepointedinasafedirection.
• Thisweaponmayonlybedischargedinyourownhouse,onauthorizedshootingranges
and inside enclosed private property. It is to be made sure that no projectile can leave the
enclosed property.
• Keepthedangerareaoftheprojectileinmind.
• Nevertransportaloadedweapon.Onlyloadyourweaponwhenyouintendtofireit.
• Neveraimyourairgunatpersonsoranimals.Avoidricochets.Neverfireatsmooth,hard
surfaces or water.
• Beforeyoudischargeyourweapon,makesurethattargetandsurroundingareaaresafe.
• Makesurethatyoualwayshavefullcontroloverthemuzzleofyourweapon,evenifyou
stumble or fall down.
• Safetyshootingglassesshouldalwaysbewornwhenfiringtheweapon.
• Alwaysstoreyourweaponinasafeplaceandinunloadedcondition.Unauthorizedpersons
(personsnotfamiliarwiththeuseofweapons,children)mustnothaveaccesstoit.
Ammunitionistobekeptinaseparateplace.
• Thisweaponanditsinstructionmanualmayonlybepassedontopersons
- who are fully familiar with its use and
- who have reached the legally stipulated minimum age in the respective country.
• Modificationsorrepairsofweaponsareonlytobeeffectedbyauthorizedagenciesorbya
skilled gunsmith.
• Neverleavealoadedweaponunattended.
• Onlyunloadedweaponsaretobehandedovertoanotherperson.
MAINTENANCE (FOR CO2 WEAPON ONLY)
Cleanyourgunatregularintervals(250shots)usingamaintenancecapsule.Werecommend
theuseoftheWALTHERmaintenancecapsule4.1683.
How to use the maintenance capsule:
RemoveallBBsfromthegun,insertthemaintenancecapsuleandpierceit.
Point the gun downwards and fire until the capsule is empty.
REPAIR
Agunthatdoesnotworkproperlyisdangerous.Repairingagunbyoneselfisdifficultand
an incorrectly assembled gun can malfunction in dangerous ways.
Caution: Repairs should only be completed by UMAREX authorized centers.
