Benutzung und Inbetriebnahme dieses Produktes.

tung von anderen Geräten lesen, welche mit diesem Produkt
betrieben oder an dieses Produkt angeschlossen werden.
Betriebsanleitung für späteren Gebrauch oder für Nachbesitzer
aufbewahren.

Produkt nicht öffnen oder modifizieren! Instandsetzungs-
arbeiten dürfen nur vom Hersteller oder einem von ihm
beauftragten Servicetechniker oder einer vergleichbar
qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.
UMWELTHINWEISE | ENTSORGUNG
Die Verpackung sortenrein entsorgen. Pappe und Karton
zum Altpapier, Folie in die Wertstoff-Sammlung.
Das unbrauchbare Produkt gemäß den gesetzlichen Be-
stimmungen entsorgen. Die Kennzeichnung „Mülltonne“
weist darauf hin, dass Elektrogeräte in der EU nicht mit dem
normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Rückgabe-
und Sammelsysteme in ihrer Gemeinde verwenden oder an
den Händler wenden, bei dem das Produkt gekauft wurde.
Produkt zur Entsorgung an einer speziellen Entsorgungs-
stelle für Altgeräte abgeben. Das Produkt nicht in den Haus-
müll werfen.
Gebrauchte Batterien/Akkus immer in Übereinstimmung mit
den örtlichen Gesetzen oder Anforderungen entsorgen.
Geben Sie Batterien und Akkus nur in entladenem Zustand ab.

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um eine Countdown-Zeit-
schaltuhr, welche ermöglicht, die elektrische Leistung von
Haushaltsgeräten zu steuern, um Energie zu sparen. Nach Ab-
lauf der voreingestellten Zeit wird der Stromkreis automatisch
unterbrochen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Stecken Sie die ANSMANN Countdown Timer AES1.3 in eine
geeignete 230V Steckdose.
Bedienung des Geräts wie unter FUNKTIONEN beschrieben.
FUNKTIONEN
On/Off Taste: Schaltet manuell den Strom an oder aus. Die
Taste unterbricht auch alle laufenden Zeitprogramme, sowie
die Wiederholungsfunktion.
SCAN Taste: Schaltet durch wiederholtes Drücken das
gewünschte Zeitprogramm. Dieses wird auf der Zeitskala als
leuchtender Punkt angezeigt.
REPEAT Taste: Durch einmaliges Drücken leuchtet die Tasten
LED - die Funktion schaltet das aktuell laufende Zeitpro-
gramm am darauf folgenden Tag automatisch erneut ein. Die
Funktion kann durch erneutes Drücken deaktiviert werden
(LED leuchtet nicht mehr).

pointed by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION | DISPOSAL
Dispose of packaging after sorting by material type. Cardbo-
ard and cardboard to the waste paper, film to the recycling
collection.
Dispose of the unusable product in accordance with legal
provisions. The „waste bin“ symbol indicates that, in the
EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment in
household waste. Use the return and collection systems in
your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased
the product.
For disposal, pass the product on to a specialist disposal
point for old equipment. Do not dispose of the device with
household waste!
Always dispose of used batteries & rechargeable batteries
in accordance with the local regulations and requirements.
In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribu-
te to environmental protection.

PROPER INTENDED USE
This device is a countdown timer that allows you to control the
electrical power of household appliances to save energy. After
the preset time has elapsed, the power circuit is automatically
interrupted.
FIRST USE
Plug the ANSMANN weekly time switch AES4 into a suitable
230V socket.
Operate the unit as described under FUNCTIONS.
FUNCTIONS
On/Off button: Manually switches the power on or off. The
button also interrupts all running time programs, as well as
the repeat function.
SCAN button: Press repeatedly to switch to the desired time
program. This is indicated on the time scale as a luminous dot.
REPEAT button: Press once to light up the button LED - the
function automatically switches the currently running time
program on again the following day. The function can be
deactivated by pressing it again (LED no longer lights up).
