After reading, keep the document(s) including those sections where it will be available for immediate reference.
Precautions When Connecting
 5
To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn
down the volume, and turn o all the units before making any
connections.
 5
Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to
your various devices in the order specied. By turning on devices
in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage
to speakers and other devices.
When powering up: Turn on the power to your guitar amp last.
When powering down: Turn o the power to your guitar amp rst.
 5
This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval
(a few seconds) after power up is required before the unit will
operate normally.
 5
Immediately after the unit is powered-on, the eect is on.
Use of Battery
 5
A battery was installed in the unit before it left the factory. The life
of this battery may be limited, however, since its primary purpose
was to enable testing.
 5
If you handle batteries improperly, you risk explosion and uid
leakage. Make sure that you carefully observe all of the items
related to batteries that are listed in “USING THE UNIT SAFELY” and
“IMPORTANT NOTES” (supplied on a separate sheet).
 5
When operating on battery power only, the unit’s indicator will
become dim when battery power gets too low. Replace the
battery as soon as possible.
 5
Batteries should always be installed or replaced before connecting
any other devices. This way, you can prevent malfunction and
damage.
 5
If operating this unit on battery, please use alkaline battery.

then open the pedal upward.

the battery housing , and
remove the battery snap
connected to it.
3. Connect the battery snap to the new battery, and place
the battery inside the battery housing.
* Be sure to carefully observe the battery’s polarity (+ versus -).
4. Slip the coil spring onto the spring base on the
back of the pedal, and then close the pedal.

Main Features
Panel Descriptions
 7The RV-6 is a multi-function high-quality reverb that packs studio-level quality into a compact pedal.
7Cutting-edge digital technology provides a total of eight modes, which include standard reverb as well as types that are immediately usable for live performance or recording.
7The optimal reverb is automatically output according to the in/out connections. You can also use an expression pedal to control the reverb depth while you perform.
AC Adaptor
(PSA series: optional)
TONE knob
Adjusts the tone color of the reverb sound.
DC IN jack
Accepts connection of an AC Adaptor (PSA series; optional). By using an AC Adaptor, you can play without
being concerned about how much battery power you have left.
* Use only the specied AC adaptor (PSA series; sold separately), and connect it to an AC outlet of the
correct voltage. Do not use any other AC adaptor, since this may cause malfunction.
* If the AC adaptor is connected while a battery is installed, the power
supply is drawn from the AC adaptor.
* We recommend that you keep batteries installed in the unit even
though you’ll be powering it with the AC adaptor. That way, you’ll be
able to continue a performance even if the cord of the AC adaptor gets
accidently disconnected from the unit.
CHECK indicator
This indicator shows whether the eect is on or o, and also doubles as the battery check
indicator. The indicator lights when the eect is on.
* If you’re powering the unit with a battery and the CHECK indicator goes dim— or doesn’t
light at all—when you try to turn the eect on, the battery is near depletion and should be
replaced. For instructions on changing the battery, refer to “Changing the Battery.”
OUTPUT jacks A (MONO)/B
Pedal switch
This switch turns the eect on/o.
* The reverb sound remains even when you turn o the eect.
Thumbscrew
When this screw is loosened, the
pedal will open, allowing you to
change the battery.
*  For instructions on changing
the battery, refer to “Changing
the Battery.”
E. LEVEL knob
Adjusts the volume of the reverb sound.
TIME knob
Adjusts the length (time) of the reverb sound.
Mode knob
Selects the reverb eect mode. Refer to “Mode List.”
INPUT jacks A (MONO)/B
These jacks accepts signals coming from
a guitar or other musical instrument, or
another eects unit.
* The INPUT jack doubles as the power switch.
Power to the unit is turned on when you plug
into the INPUT jack; the power is turned o
when the cable is unplugged. To prevent
unnecessary battery consumption, be sure to
disconnect the plug from the INPUT jack when
not using the eects unit.
Electric guitar
EXP jack
If you connect an expression pedal (Roland EV-5, BOSS
EV-30) to this jack, you can use it to control the reverb
depth.
* Use only the specied expression pedal (Roland
EV-5, BOSS EV-30; sold separately). By connecting
any other expression pedals, you risk causing
malfunction and/or damage to the unit.
Roland EV-5
Guitar amplier
These output jacks can be connected to an
amplier or another eect unit.
