1. Safety
• The tting is only suitable for permanent installation and should be installed
by a qualied electrician.
• Make sure that you stand steady and balanced at all times.
• Make sure there are no cables or water pipes in the ceiling or wall
before drilling.
• Read all the instructions before you install and use the tting.
• Always turn off the power before assembling, connecting or repairing.
• Whenever installing any electrical ttings, basic safety precautions Warning:
should always be observed to avoid the risk of re, electric shock and
personal injury.
• The tting must not be used without the mounted cover.
• If you drill holes in the tting it will affect its IP classication. N.B:
2. Unpacking the tting
Unpack the contents carefully. The box contains also mounting details besides
the tting.
3. Preparations
• Have ready the necessary tools.
• Pick an appropriate location for the mounting.
• Consider the best mounting procedure.
• Buy suitable uorescent tubes (not included). See: 9. .Specifications
